ShiftMate ("the app") is a rotating shift-work calendar for Android, developed by Taha Iftekhar / IFTEKHAR LLC ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information the app handles and how.
ShiftMate works fully offline. Everything you enter — your schedules and rotation patterns, shift types and times, day overrides, notes, and settings — is stored only on your device. We do not operate servers, the app has no accounts, and we never receive, collect, or see your schedule data.
Data leaves your device only when you explicitly choose to share or export it: sending a calendar image, sharing a schedule code, or saving a backup file. Those go where you send them and are under your control. Uninstalling the app deletes its locally stored data.
The free version shows ads served by Google AdMob. Like most ad-supported apps, AdMob and its partners may collect and process certain data to serve and measure ads, including your device's advertising identifier, IP address, coarse location, and diagnostic information. This collection is governed by Google's policies, not ours:
In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, the app asks for your consent before any ad-related data processing, using Google's consent framework. You can change your choice at any time via the "Ad privacy options" button in the app's Settings. Declining consent does not remove any app functionality.
You can also reset or delete your device's advertising ID in Android's Settings → Privacy → Ads. Purchasing ShiftMate Pro removes all ads.
The optional one-time "ShiftMate Pro" upgrade is processed entirely by Google Play Billing. We never see or store your payment details; Google's privacy policy applies to the transaction.
The app requests network access solely for serving ads, and optional notification and alarm permissions solely to show the shift reminders you enable. No other sensitive permissions (contacts, location, camera, microphone, etc.) are requested.
ShiftMate is a work-scheduling tool intended for adults and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
If we change this policy, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new effective date.
